THE WRAP:

This is a brand new design concept, exclusive to Ivory Cakes, that I created for my own wedding last year. The cake itself is individual serving pieces, individually iced, but not just piled up as usual!

They are all cleverly and carefully covered in fabric-thin sugar, interlocked to form a silk-like covering and hide all gaps. Instead of cutting the cake, you 'unwrap' it.

Once you have served the cake portions to your guests (or transfered them to another plate for your venue staff to serve), inside you find flowers and a little round cake for you to save for your first anniversary.

Just unwrap, serve the parcels, and enjoy the hidden depths of your cake. Where else can you find a cake that looks great even after you've cut it and eaten it?!

This cake is great for those who want to have a modern cake and still be able to satisfy the more traditional guests with flowers and a cake to save! Your cake will come with it's own matching stand included in the price, and you can order any combination of base cake you wish. Because of the individual parcels, it is possible to mark which cake type it contains, so you can serve traditional fruit cake to those who prefer it, and other more unusual types to others. As always you can request some or all of your cake to be wheat and gluten free. As with our Bespoke service we can work together to create a new recipe for your cake, all of which is included in the 'Wrap' price.

To order the 'Wrap', you must know (roughly, we can confirm nearer to the wedding date) the number of guests. You will be required to send a 40% deposit to confirm your order.
